Sea Shells is a beautiful spacious family-friendly beach front vacation home with a heated lagoon pool, strong air conditioning, three bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, all set directly on gorgeous award-winning sandy Ka`anapali Beach. This west-facing home serves up glorious scarlet sunsets and dazzling moonsets, along with some of the island's best whale watching during the winter season. Ka`anapali Beach is perfect for long romantic walks, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, sailing and scuba diving.
In winter 2017 an all-new look was completed for the Sea Shells great room. We added new area rugs, new upholstery on sofas, new lighting, new decor. Please see the photos for a of this exciting and new enhancement.

The exceptional swimming pool reflects graceful palm trees which frame the garden. Swim under the stars at night by the light of tiki torches. We love this pool and consider it one of the most attractive and inviting of any vacation home in the islands! During cooler months the pool is heated on a complimentary basis.
The great room of Sea Shells Beach House opens to the outdoor patio and pool and has cathedral ceilings with two lounging areas in addition to an entertainment center with iPod dock, CD surround sound, DVD, VCR and new flat panel LCD television with premium channels, digital reception and Apple TV 4K. The kitchen has just been re-stocked with all new supplies and small appliances commensurate with luxury standards, including an espresso machine, coffee grinder, abundant service ware, red and white wine glasses, champagne flutes, martini glasses, Henckel knives, top quality cookware, and so much more to use and enjoy! In particular, we are fond of the new center-island wood table, expansive granite counters, dual dishwashers and sinks, and large Sub-Zero fridge with ice maker.
Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own private en-suite bathroom and entertainment system. A convenient office nook provides a large desk, ethernet cable to hook into the high speed cable modem, office supply, fax, and brand new multi-function office machine. There are two laundry centers. Use of the garage is available.
The single level design of Seashells Beach House provides very comfortable living for guests with limited physical movement. This property can be enjoyed by guests using a wheelchair although it is not specifically out-fitted for special needs.
A hop and skip from Sea Shells is a beach front kiosk which rents ocean sports equipment including surf boards, boogie boards, skim boards, Hobie cats and snorkel sets. During summer months jet skis may be rented in front of the Hyatt Hotel. A convenient beach front restaurant, Castaway, is adjacent to the kiosk serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual beach front setting. The primary Ka`anapali Resort hotels as well as Whaler's Village Shopping Center and its many restaurants featuring live music on the beach, can be reached within 1-2 minutes by car or on foot if you hike some distance down the beach through the Sheraton Ka`anapali Resort, then along a paved pedestrian walking promenade that hugs the coastal beach. From the heart of Ka`anapali Beach hop on a sailing catamaran for a snorkel sail, scuba diving, or romantic sunset cocktail cruise. West Maui airport is minutes away for easy access from other islands. The recreational activities available within Ka`anapali Resort are endless.

Toddlers and children age two (2) and above at the time of occupancy will be included in the total guest count. The total guest count may not exceed the stated number of persons. We reserve the right to request (and receive prior to accepting a reservation), actual written proof of birth date (month/day/year) for any toddlers or infants a family wishes to have excluded from the total guest count.
Occupancy is granted for the maximum number of guests noted above. Excess occupancy is not allowed and may also be regulated by resort and/or local County of Maui ordinance.

|Housekeeping Services Provided||
For details about the inclusive no-charge (complimentary) housekeeping services provided with your reservation, please refer to the rental cost quote provided to you at the time of first placing your reservation. You will receive information about the housekeeping schedule (dates and times) upon check in. During the Christmas and New Years holiday period, DAILY housekeeping is provided, with the exception that there is no housekeeping service on Christmas Day December 25 nor on New Years Day January 1.
Inclusive housekeeping service may vary based on rate paid or on a seasonal basis. Our villas are extremely well stocked with an abundant supply of towels, blankets and extra bed linens, along with soap and cleaning products. There is plenty of inventory to suffice for several days. There is a laundry room inside your own residence that provides a washer/dryer, laundry soap and supplies, iron/board. Personal laundry, clean up in the kitchen after cooking or meals, and grill cleaning, are not performed during housekeeping services, unless arranged in advance and paid for separately.

Walk out directly on Ka`anapali Beach, a beautiful golden sand swimming beach that stretches for several miles along the shore in front of Sea Shells. The beach is nearly unparralled and is perfect for lap swimming, long walks, romantic evenings laying under the full moon or glittering stars at water's edge. Situated between Maui Ka`anapali Villas and several new interval ownership resorts, this stretch of Ka`anapali Beach is less crowded than the hotel zone. There are currently 4 homes on 6 contiguous one acre beach front lots on the coast adjacent to Sea Shells.|
|Pool||Sea Shells is blessed with a really fun large lagoon shaped free form swimming pool on the beach side of the property. The pool is not fenced or covered. Guests with young children who do not swim well may wish to consider bringing a pool alarm. The pool is heated to 82 degrees in cooler months.||Outdoor Spa||Yes! We have added a lovely large 4 to 6 person hot tub spa which is professionally serviced weekly. From the hot tub you can overlook the pool, the sunsets, tiki torches, and out towards the ocean.|

The swimming pool is not fenced or covered. Pool is heated during cooler months to 82 degrees.
Air Conditioning should never be set to cool below 70-72 or the equipment may freeze or experience any other damage. Most homes and villas in Hawaii are equipped with residential grade equipment which does not provide bottomless cooling. Cooling is available to a reasonable temperature, usually in the 70-72 range on the very low end. Most guests find that a setting of 72-74 is very comfortable once a unit has been allowed to cool down and with doors and windows closed. At select properties, the air conditioning may only function to a temperature in the 72-74 range with lower temperature settings mechanically excluded.
THE BEACH IN FRONT OF SEA SHELLS IS PUBLIC. THERE IS A PUBLIC WALKING PATH THAT PASSES BETWEEN THE SANDY BEACH AND THE VEGETATION LINE OF THE SEA SHELLS PROPERTY. LANDSCAPING IS MAINTAINED AS BEST AS POSSIBLE TO PROVIDE PRIVACY FROM PERSONS WALKING ALONG THE PATH. TYPICALLY, IT IS POSSIBLE TO SEE THE OCEAN FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE, BUT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THE PUBLIC TO SEE SOMEONE LOUNGING BY THE POOL THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE STAGE OF VEGETATION GROWTH AS MAINTAINED BY THE LANDSCAPERS.
